For Tentendo, the mission is simple: make nice club music. The Melbourne-based producer, AKA Caleb Williams, crafts soulful dance tracks; songs that move you, live with you and weave their way into part of your psyche. Some tracks are deep and hypnotic, others rhythmic and energised, but each feels like stepping into a portal to somewhere new. Tentendo sees every song as a fresh chance to build worlds. Looking for a way to keep making music after an injury forced him to stop playing his first instrument of choice, the bass guitar, he turned to electronic production. Quickly Tentendo fell in love with the ability to craft full sonic landscapes by himself – the possibilities with sound felt exciting, expansive, endless. And his first love – the bass – is never far from his music. His funky, head-turning basslines have become the Tentendo signature. They’re the first thing you’ll notice and what sticks with you long after the dancefloor has emptied.
