After forming in March 2011, Terracotta Palace hit the ground running headlining some of Adelaide's premier venues within their first few shows. With the simple combination of guitars, keys and drums, the TP boys are committed to exploiting their instruments in particular ways to emphasise riffs and melodies with strong rhythmic drive while producing chord progressions that stir all sorts of emotion. While they’ve only been writing music together for a short time, there’s an obvious bond between the three that is reflected in their tunes thanks to a mixture of hard work, improvisation and their down-to-earth approach to song writing. With a self-produced EP released in March and a whole bunch of shows lined up, 2012 is set to be a massive year for the likeable trio from Adelaide, so keep your ear to the ground and be sure to look out for Terracotta Palace.
