Edit history

Tetris Nightmare! are a group of 4 well-rounded individuals sharing an upbringing in Melbourne's west and also a love of post-rock and the like. The members have been playing music together for some 15 years, since their early teens when Sonic Youth and Nirvana t-shirts were the only items of clothing in the wardrobe. The four came together as a whole forming Tetris Nightmare! in 2003. The band has recently recorded and released it's debut EP "Stoner Rock" in Digipak format. The EP was mastered by John Golden (Beck, Sonic Youth, Shipping News) in California in 2006. Influences are many and varied. For inspiration, members have travelled to the UK for the 2005 All Tomorrow's Parties festival (Slint, Mogwai, Melvins) and also to Chicago in 2006 for the Touch and Go 25th Anniversary party (Big Black, Shellac, Girls Against Boys, !!!).
