THØLEMOD authors a realm of his own design as chief creator, writer and engineer of darkened electronic pop. Since emerging in late 2020, the Brisbane-based producer and songwriter has drawn upon his formative years as a founding member of scuzzy-rock duo ELKO FIELDS, long-time live collaborator of blackened metal groups SPIRE and Consummation, and head producer/engineer of Nocturnal Hubcap Records to develop a sound that is as unsettling as it is captivating. In 2020, THØLEMOD covered vast swathes of electronic territory - from the crushing experimental trap of 'Jump If You Want' (feat. Alexander Keys), to the ethereal pulse of 'Hank Moody' (feat. Matisse) and the terrifying darksynth anthem 'The Lich' - proving himself to be as adept as he is diverse. In 2021, THØLEMOD joins forces with virtuosic singer-songwriter Huey Blue (The Vernons) on the heartbreakingly visceral single 'Horselover Fat' and is the first taste of what will become THØLEMOD's first LP (planned for 2021).
