Tharusha Silva is proof that R&B and Hip-Hop can evolve outside of their spiritual American birthplace and become something that not only adds to its legacy but exists in an environment where it actually thrives. With over one million streams on Spotify alone, the artist born and raised in Melbourne Australia has been on the grind since 2019. Surrounded by old school R&B and Hip-Hop from a young age, he became obsessed by artists such as Ne-Yo, Mario, and Jay Sean before carving his own path. From comparing himself to mob boss Tony Soprano and football superstar Mo Salah, his lyrical flow shows an intelligence and dynamism that is up there with some of the best in the game. Telling stories, painting lyrical pictures and dropping his own truths, he is also capable of weaving in the vocal tenderness of his life’s journey in tracks such as Juliet. However, his greatest success has been reserved for his tribute to his ride in the beloved Nissan Skyline V-Spec.
