It was artists such as J. Cole, Childish Gambino and Ludacris who ignited the lyrical spark within Eritrean-Australian rapper, ThatKidMaz. Fast becoming one of Australia's most pivotal hip-hop acts, the young MC continues to keep the art of lyricism alive with his incisive, melodic flows and dynamic sound. Since releasing his debut single in mid 2019, ThatKidMaz has gone on to perform with a string of both local and international artists, whilst garnering attention from the likes of esteemed musical platforms COLORS and MTV Music. The year 2022 is already proving promising for ThatKidMaz, who caught the attention of many when won Acclaim Magazine’s 2022 All Stars series. After taking a hiatus from solo releases - but not slowing down with captivating live performances and features with the likes of local talents Jordan Dennis, Ijale & Pania - ThatKidMaz is back and ready to release his long-anticipated debut EP, Lil Eritrean Boy (out July 8th, 2022)!
