The Absolute Unit formed in the Houston metro area in the summer of 2021 by musicians from such diverse bands as El Mantis, Fist of Kong, The Defenestration Unit, Sapo Toro, Linus Pauling Quartet, and Laktating Yak. Through lineup changes and time, they persist. All music is recorded live and fully spontaneously improvised. We are Legion.
