Edit history

First formed in 2015 during high school, The Addictions are now a five-piece band consisting of members Angus Stanyer (Drums/Percussion), Ben Pucci (Vocals), George Dimitropoulos (Bass Guitar), Jamie Holmes (Keys/Piano) and Declan Hickey (Lead Guitar). Fresh out of high school, the group recorded ‘Establishing Shot’, an independent, mixed genre album that would showcase the band’s versatility and unique style. Less than one year after releasing ‘Establishing Shot’, The Addictions returned to the studio to put together their second album, ‘Systematic’, a concept album with a heavier R&B and Neo-Soul influence. The album was packed with narrative and references all layered on top of some of the band’s best instrumental work of all time. Since ‘Systematic’, the band has released two back-to-back singles; ‘Pedal Faster’ and ‘You Killed Me’. A pair of gut-wrenching lyric-focused pieces about loss and grief. They are currently working on their third studio album set to release in 2025.
