After an extended layoff with some overseas travel for some, we are back. It’s nice to be playing again after bunkering down and working on some new material. For those who have seen us in the past the return shows at Don’t Tell Tom involve more new songs than they do ones from last year. And while sometimes it seems that we are on a never ending quest to add new songs before anyone is familiar with the old ones, it’s all part of the grand plan for a full length album in mid 2009. For the band, it’s an exciting time. The line-up is finally stable and we’ve combined forces with the managing talents of Steve Scully, which has already netted us a support slot with Institut Polaire and Autumn Isles at the Toff in Town in October. Rob ‘no fills’ Hosking came up with this idea for some live releases and it’s something we’ll try and do every month or so.
