What happens when two mates who share an obsession with 80s Aussie synth-rock find themselves locked in the studio during a global pandemic? The Antipodeans (Mark Vick & Danny Muller) remedied their cabin fever by breaking open the audio vaults of quintessential Australian band ICEHOUSE, with a stunning new re-imagining of the 1982 hit Hey Little Girl. With a sound that’s bound to excite both fans of the original and new listeners alike, The Antipodeans have brought modern production to a beloved Aussie favourite, whilst remaining faithful to the artistry of the original. As the monumental 40th anniversary of “Hey Little Girl” ticks over, Australian audiences find themselves emerging from lockdown with a yearning to celebrate the good times that timeless Aussie music has to offer. Featuring the original vocal from Iva Davies with full support from ICEHOUSE. The Antipodeans: https://theantipodeans.online Facebook: @wearetheantipodeans Instagram: @wearetheantipodeans
