The Arch Menaces are an unsigned four piece garage rock band from Adelaide, South Australia, formed in 2012 in the spirit of the great Australian garage and power pop bands of years past, such as the Sunnyboys, Hoodoo Gurus, Stems, Someloves, Lime Spiders and Exploding White Mice to pay due deference to just a few. Released as a promotional CD in March 2013, "Primitive Germs" was recorded at Capitalsound Studios by James Balderston and mastered by the legendary Bob Weston at Chicago Mastering Service, United States. Featuring bona fide top of the pops hits like “Hearing the Sounds”, “Fancy Free” and “All I Wanna Know”, 1960’s inspired stompers a la “Not in My World”, punk mayhem via “Stars of the Screen” and “Oh Man It’s Done” and instrumental surf in the form of “The Link”, Primitive Germs wears its melodic heart on its sleeve whilst delivering a proverbial kick in the guts.
