An indie-folk artist based in Melbourne.

We're a five piece rock band from Sydney. Far from subtle, we're all about big riffs and catchy hooks - tunes you can sing along to in the car, at the pub, or at home in your bedroom. We've supported Everclear, The Presidents of the United States of America, and hope to continue to work our way through the list of 90s rock idols still kicking it! If you dig the sound, come to a live show. It's worth it just to see Smithers dance!

We've been writing since we were kids, one album out, one in the can (finished, not shithouse). Three east coast tours under our belts and chomping at the bit for three more. Strong blue collar ethic, not quite alt country, more like rural rock. (but we're city kids, go figure?) We just Supported The National here in Bris-Vegas, it was fucking rad. There were some reviews, check em out at our myspace www.myspace.com/theashesbandvegas These tracks are from our new record "To Everyone I Love and Hate", the title is a tribute to Big Heavy Stuffs' final record. 13/03/08 - WOW, Thanks for the reviews guys!! really happy you like the tracks!!! Shoot us an email and let us know where you are and we'll keep you up to date with tour info!! Rockit!!
