Edit history

Although formed in April 2012, The Astros band members Ry and Wayde have been playing together for years. Old school friends, it was only natural that when Ry picked up a guitar and needed someone to jam with, Wayde was on hand to pick up the sticks and give drumming a go. Years later both members were part of the band Paper Arcade who went on to play at the Push Over finals in St Kilda. After Paper Arcade went on hiatus, the two members decided to form a band together after many attempts already to get it off the ground. Inspired by other 2 piece bands such as The Black Keys, The White Stripes, and The Kills, also bands such as The Hives and The Horrors, The Astros are a small but incredibly loud hypocrisy that will make your juices explode.
