1 part Johnny Cash, 1 part Garage Punk, one big eccentric mess. The Attention Seekers are here to throw some things, have a bit of a thrash around, then relax and ponder life’s ridiculousness with a beer and some pointless self reflection. The 6-piece band launched onto the scene with their 6 track EP ‘Itchy’. It embodied the trials, tribulations and despair of someone’s ‘twenties’. Distinguished by its addictive riffs and folk/pop/garage mishmash, it’s packed with punk anthems that have you reaching for a cold brew while jumping around like a lunatic. Stomping around Australia on their follow-up rural and national tour, the motley crew left their mark on Aussie audiences. The Attention Seekers are about to launch their sophomore EP ‘Knee’ – still retaining the manic punk/western/folk/pop concoction that makes you scratching your head thinking how does it all work together.
