9 has been a positive year for The Authentic Replica. Since their inception as a band in 2007, the band has evolved from their acoustic roots- shifting through through sound, style, and member changes, into a hard-hitting electric 4-piece melodic rock/indie band that's been impressing crowds all over Adelaide. Initially formed as an acoustic project by frontman Andrew Noll and (now former) bassist Annie Siegmann (The Belle-Phonics, Projected Twin), the band began to take shape in 2008 with the addition of drums (Jackson Mc-Call Pearce) and guitar (Tim Giddings of Arcadia). In 2009, Tom Drahos (Bliss and Ignorance) joined the crew, bringing with him his intense flavour and creative energy. From there, nobody could tell you exactly what happened, but it worked. With new material constantly dropping from the skies, and a new hunger to show everyone what they're made of, The Authentic Replica have big things planned for 2009.
