HEY WIZARD!....The Authors are an acoustic ensemble which originate from the small country town of Drouin (about and hour east of Melbourne) their influences are the typical musicians most people would have heard growing up in the 90’s… James has been playing guitar and dabbling in song writing since he was a young sprite, Michael only picked the guitar up a few years ago and is still learning the ropes. Kate comes from a colorful musical background and has played violin and piano since she was knee high to a grasshopper. Together they are The Authors, writers of such hits as “Hey Wizard” and “My Brother” and to a lesser extent “KevWreck”

Hey there! Simon and I are two musicians from Perth who are interested in seeing what your take is on a couple of tunes we wrote. They're very different to each other and as always, the recording is isn't 24 crt (but it's not too bad either). Between the two of us we play about 300 gigs a year so we generally just have a hit on Thursday nights before we hit the pub as it is the only night we can both make free. Hopefully (if there is some decent feedback) we can look towards spending some serious time with the project.
