hello. "the Baby Seal club" are a band from Perth Western Australia. The name is supposed to be funny, a multiple entendre if you will. Mostly I just get blank looks. Oh well. The way it’s meant is: a BABY SEAL CLUB is a weapon for seals- baby seals in fact- to protect themselves from would be clubbers. Hilarious eh? yeah we think so. Anyway it’s kinda poppee, folkee music designed to get people to dance at our shows so we can hopefully get more gigs and make money and get girlfriends or something. We’ve been together for about three months now. It’s going fairly well I think. There is Jubin Reuben (bass) "jubin" is a synonym we made up for good, like a cool new word to say like:"Hey man your bass playing is totally jubin" We all really like jubes and I guess one thing just led to another.
