The basic fault is a Brisbane three piece that began to exist, in their current form, in 2011. After writing and recording their first album, which is due to be released later this year, they started giggin' it up. Their live performances are diverse and engaging; their music surprising, yet somehow familiar. Guest appearances are made on the album by Cameron Lobb resident Melbourne trombone genius and Mal Wood, a fantastically energetic and talented trumpet player at the GC.
