The BC's (formerly the Bob Crane Experiment) was formed in 2005 as an experiment in simplicity built on a core of driving drums and rhythm guitar, overlayed with melancholy vocals. The 2 piece is comprised of Simon "Bob" Bobeldyk on drums / vocals and Adam Crane on guitar. The music attempts to balance space and powerful rhythm to support the emotional intent underlying the vocals and lyrics which are a commentary on life - both personal and those portrayed in the modern media. The BC's have been in hibernation from the live scene as they wrote and recorded their first full length album 'Man in the Mirror'. The album features Garth Spenceley on bass, provide a fuller recorded sound than previous recordings. The album is expected to be launched late in 2008 and the band will be back out on the live scene to promote the new material.
