The Beatups hail the 1950's and 60's rock n' roll era as their driving inspiration and are a punk rock blues pop explosion. They have been known to leap off stages and writhe on the floor in the throes of musical ecstasy during their wild stage shows. Sometimes aghast onlookers have drew comparisons of The Beatups with The Sex Pistols, an early Nirvana, and Crime (70’s San Fransico punk rockers). Expect a solid backbeat, wandering bass lines, and fiery feedback filled solos with ethereal melodies floating over the top!
