Their debut E.P ‘Country Member’ expertly produced by none other than Aria Award winner Matt Corby served as an impressive introduction to their unique sound. Fusing elements of pop, rock, and a whole lot of charm, The Beefs' self-proclaimed genre of "pub-pop" is a harmonious blend of feel-good nostalgia and Australian tongue-in-cheek charm. Driven by frontman Sammy Smith, the band has seen collaborative efforts with artists such as Kirin J. Callinan, Julian Sudek (Royal Otis, Genesis Owusu), Micheal Temonty (The Delta Riggs) and Lucy Lucy in their latest slew of catchy recordings such as “Punchin’”, “Red Bellied Black Snake” and “In The Blood” which has amassed millions of streams and gained support from national radio such as Triple J and international playlisting. It's the kind of music that'll make you want to hoist a pint in one hand and dance with a mate in the other.
