Well the four of us met at the 2334th annual karate championship tournament in downtown San Diego. This is where we decided to start the band. Fighting karate was just getting too much. It took up too much time and there was too much hard work and training involved. Karate had always been the way of life for us. in the morning, it was eating 14 weetbix so we could go to karate training. at lunch, it was a lite spar. however the afternoon consisted of rock history, followed by rock appreciation and for the rest of the day - band practice.. then of course more karate. it was this time of day we liked most. hence The Best Bet was born.. The End. Expect to see four young men on a musical journey to find the elusive 5th chord, but also along the way a lot of jumping, sweating and breaking of things, such as guitars, amps ....... and hearts.
