The Bifters Band are a unique and experienced trio of musicians based out of Sydney, Australia. Forming in early 2020, the band has endeavoured to reinvent the classic blues rock attitude of an era gone-by, adding a new-age rock and doom sound all of their own. Their first single, "Sugar Mama", opened doors by headlining a sold out main room at The Factory Theatre, Frankie’s Pizza and Lazy Bones Lounge, all within months of their conception. Perfectly summarised by Rawing in the Pit Media, in a review of The Factory Theatre gig: "The ode to their influences and their unrelenting musical force made for an unforgettable concert. It appealed to the primal need for hard hitting rock and roll" The Bifters' raucous sound stems from the blues greats, with influences ranging from the deep roots of muddy waters, to modern rock classics such as QotSA, stopping by the house of Rory Gallagher and taking a healthy puff of "inspiration" along the way.

Bio history
Like a phoenix rising from the ashes of over saturated synth pop and the ghastly auto tune, The Bifters are a whirlwind of fiery blues-rock sent forward in time, hell-bent on restoring the music industry. With a nod to the classics, The Bifters are armed with new sounds so infectious you’ll have to self-quarantine. (...Too soon?) The Bifters raucous sound stems from the blues greats, with influences ranging from the deep roots of muddy waters, to modern rock classics such as OotSA, and stopping by the house of Rory Gallagher for a healthy puff of inspiration along the way. Cavernous drums, chest-pounding bass and savage guitar tones complete the smoky trio, and their catchy original songs guarantee toes will start tapping. On December 26th, The Bifters will be holding an intimate release party of their first single ‘Sugar Mama’ at the Stoke Beach House Hostel. This will coincide with the release of the track on all social media. Due out on Vinyl and digital platforms February 2021
