Late night jamming sessions accompanied with many cups of herbal tea, were the humble beginnings of acoustic duo - The Biggenden Exit. Family friends, Chelsea Foley and Ryan Carins grew up surrounded by music. Parents of both were involved in the music industry, with Chelsea’s dad, Chris Foley, touring extensively as a solo artist in Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific during the late 70’s to early 80’s. Their love for music was evident right from a young age, Ryan taking up guitar at 10 and Chelsea singing to anyone who would listen, since she left the womb. In early 2006, after many weekends spent making music, it was only natural that Ryan and Chelsea would end up performing together. The Biggenden Exit was born. Both Ryan and Chelsea share an incredible passion for life and this zeal is obvious in their energetic happy-go-lucky music. The pair has a great synergy and an amazing sense of fun when they perform their very commercial brand of acoustic folk/rock tunes.
