It was a dark and stormy night.... Well, let's just say it was dark. The Black Arts were born when Channel J and I teamed up to create a band which would be the vehicle for their diabolical musical plan. Pillaging the rythm section from another Brisbane band, The Black Arts got set to plunder the Indie scene. After two years of gigging in Brisbane's best venues, and following the national success of their first single "War on Hurricanes", the band were invited to showcase at the North By Northeast Music Festival in Canada: an invitation which sparked a Canadian/US tour and pushed The Black Arts to the next level in the music industry. With an EP completed and due for release in February 2007 and headline spots all over town, The Black Arts long term plans for world domination are well on their way to fruition!!
