Combine the all out rock music of Queens Of The Stone-age, the sexual pop sensibilities of The Dandy Warhols and mix it with the dynamic electronics of the likes of The Killers and you have a remote idea of what to expect when experiencing The Black Doves... After several set backs and false starts it seemed as though the band was destined to fall before it had even began to crawl. But unwilling to give up Scott Ibbetson (guitar/Gadget's), Tony Irish (drums/percussion), Chris Brown (bass), Kate Jay (vocals/percussion) and Mario Spate (vocals/gismo's) finally jumped to their feet and exploded onto the stage in mid 2005. Their music is unique, catchy and loaded with sexuality! Tony hammers his machine gun rhythm over wailing synthesizers while Scott throws down his screeching guitars like a man possessed.
