A band focused on the real purpose of music - social change. Music has always been lifeblood for the human race, it has brought us together shown us the power of unity through a universal language, but life has changed, an abundance of television and poker machine's, the brain washing of an entire generation and a massive wave in the tide of musical appreciation has meant that something had to change... Through an open-mindedness that is rarely seen these days The Black Market takes in everything the world has to offer and throws it back in an amazing mix of punk, ska, reggae and blues. The Black Market has played over 500 shows in the last two years with International bands and every Australian band worth mentioning. The songs are infectious, the live performances are inspiring and their ethics are uncomprimising. Anti-racist, anti-violence and anti-ignorance.
