The Boom Band Krewe is absolutely the most slamming party band in Sydney. An all brass sextet plus drums, The Boom Band Krewe draws its major influence from the revival of traditional New Orleans music fused with funk played by party bands such as The Dirty Dozen and ReBirth Brass Band. Comprised of an international cast of characters, every Krewe performance offers high-energy funk, swing and latin grooves along with a hilarious and engaging stage energy that keeps the crowd dancing even after the lights go on. The Boom Band Krewe boasts a collection of some of the most engaging soloists in Sydney and guarantees a raucous, dizzying frenzy of hot horn licks and rockin dance beats unparalleled this side of the Mississippi.
