The Breaking was formed in late 2007. Originally formed with guitarist Phill Metcalfe and drummer Mick Pope, with God's timing the band gradually grew to include Izzy Davis's funky bass, Oren Halverson's solid guitar work, and finally, the awesome vocals of Tim Fox. The Breaking aims to bring a mix of blues, funk, and rock 'n' roll with a strong message of hope to a broken world. We have fun with music and we want to live our lives so that we honour God, it's not about us it's about the lives we've been given because of Jesus and the gifts he's blessed us with. Our prayer is that God will break our hearts for His creation, and that from that place He will give us music for this world.
