We have been collaboarting on original songs since the early 80's in our first garage band 'The Dead Mylors' who became' The Jump Jets' during the Falklands War. Linz was the creative talent behind these early incarnations, having come from the Adelaide "Summer Search" battle of the bands winner 'Safari Set' in 1981. We played in many other original line ups (together and individually) and always had a good musical communication with each other that still endures after twenty-five years. At last we have the tools at our disposal to record something that is of a standard suitable for broadcast (we hope). We both have different styles of writing and a lot of original songs, dating back to the eighties, have yet to see the light of day. 'Jack Boot Johnny' was inspired through frustration at the way Australia is being governed and viewed by the rest of the world! Richard and Linz
