Debut Album 'Grace on the Banks' Grace on the Banks is the debut album from The Broadside Push - recorded and engineered with Dave McCluney at Atlantis Studios. It is their second release, following hot on the heels of the sold out 7" swinging single Purple Rouge. The thirteen track album features wide ranging instrumentation, from gut bucket guitars to heartbreak fiddle, mandolin, banjo, double bass and spine chilling percussion. Grace on the Banks is a musically diverse album, traversing tales from prison heart breakers to Aussie murder ballads, dirgy waltzes to dedications of blue love. This record retains a distinctive style throughout and reveals the musical touchstones of The Broadside Push in country, folk and Australian rock’n’roll traditions. In Grace on the Banks The Broadside Push have established a truly idiosyncratic sound, building on a long line of classic Australian artists the likes of the Triffids, C W Stoneking, The Kill Devil Hills and The Drones.
