Bronze offer up a tight, alt-rock sound with loads of ambience, groove laden riffs and heart wrenching guitar solos. United by their love of low budget horror films, dogs and melting faces off; Jess, Pat and Luke draw musical inspiration from a range of influences such as: Betty Mabry-Davis, Queens of the Stone age, Pink Floyd, Jay Mascis, and PJ Harvey to name a few. They formed around 3 years ago and have a great home town following in Melbourne. Have played shows along the East Coast of Australia. Their first single Trooper was released in September raising over $1000 for Starting Over Dog Rescue. The bands debut EP ‘The Razorback Five Track’ will be launched October 13th at The B.East on Lygon Street. "The music was absolutely inspiring. Angry, loving, uplifting, downright dirty, so bloody wonderful." (Michael Reynolds, Melbourne music photographer)

The Bronze
Bio history
We make music because our day jobs don't pay well enough to please the ladies =]. This weird little shindig we refer to as The Bronze, came about from lack of respect, a drummer confined to a computer and a whole lot of microphone fun. Coming from Sydney's west, Playa Sly and Krazy-Kool, are about as Gangster as it gets, theres no trouble on the streets of Lidcombe unless they're involved. But when they're not out getting their asses kicked, they enjoy a cool sesh or two of hittin the mic. Musical talent will only take you so far, but Playa-Sly and Krazy-Kool aka. The Bronze, take it to that next level of old school style, charisma and downright stupidity.
After 3 years of relentless gigging and recording, Perth based rock band The Bronze are starting to reap with rewards of their hard work, with the successful launch and release of their debut album, "A Waltz for Lost Souls". The band started in late 2007, and has slowly but surely garnered a broad and devoted fan base with its unique blend of melodic pop hooks and visceral rock sound. A Waltz for Lost Souls is a testament to this musical palate, finely balancing artistic merit with commercial appeal that will no doubt bolster their profile on a local and national level. With the album out and garnering a healthy interest, The Bronze are now in the process of touring their wares, with a metro and regional tour planned for the second half of the year. In addition, The Bronze have been attracting attention Australia-wide, with several radio stations up and down the east coast picking up lead single "Who I Am". With an album under the belt and many a prospect on the horizon, The Bronze
