The Canyoneersmen were a ragged Americana group from Newcastle, NSW that started playing in 2011 and disbanded in 2013. Sometimes they were a little too ragged, let's be honest. They had a small, yet devoted following who still find themselves absent-mindedly humming the rousing country rocker 'TV John McIver'. Jay -vocals, guitar Frances - vocals, piano Louisa -vocals Patrick- drums Tom - bass "Jay has all the chutzpah of [Gareth] Liddiard’s imaginary little bro backing on The Drones Gala Mill" - WhoTheHell.net RIP The Canyoneersmen, 2011 - 2013.
