The Cape Cod Affair erupted from a tantalising art project, satiating the desire to bring romantic text to the broader canvas of music. In early 2010, Brooke's sulty vocals and keys were complemented by Chris and his rocking disco drums and cinematic samples. The current enigmatic line up was completed mid 2010 with Doug's chunky bottom end and also his bass riffs and vocal harmonies. Their love of sonic soundscapes, romance themes, 80's reverb and sublime danceable tunes has brought their tight electrorock tunes to a plethora of venues around Melbourne including Revolver, the John Curtin Hotel, Pony, and Bar Open.
