Chins are a 5-piece Indie Rock band hailing from Canberra. Think “The Cure” meets “Surf Curse” with a twist of grunge! With a strong connection to the LGBTIQA+ community and diverse musical influences from 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, Chins have created a unique sound drawn from the well-known (and not-so-well-known) artists of those decades - as well as current Indie artists and the much-loved Aussie Pub Rock sound. Stepping out of the confines of school performances, Chins burst onto the venue circuit in Canberra late 2020 playing support for SCABZ and haven’t looked back! Taking the stage with local legends, touring artists, playing private parties and charity events - if they aren’t on the stage than they are behind the stage, on the sound desk or in the studio. Chins eat, breathe, speak, sleep and live music! With their positive attitude, multi-instrumental ability, contagious stage presence and ‘all-in’ approach, Chins are here to stay.
