The Clicks formed early 2006 yet Ruby and Jen had been playing together for over 4 years, in 5-piece band Ricochet. The ending of Ricochet saw the beginning for the clicks as the pair did not want to cease in doing what they love most, playing music. Both girls have moved to Melbourne this year having lived in a small town in South Gippsland, (country Victoria) most of their lives. Influenced by a variety of artists and genres, they produce a fusion of different sounds incorparating unique lyrics and soothing harmonies. Although some of their songs have a melancholy feel, others are very up-beat. The high energy and generally happy nature of the two, come through strongly in live performances. Although the girls are only nineteen, the have grown up surrounded by music of all kinds and will continue to be emmersed in music culture for as long as they live. Yet, Ruby is obsessed with the idea that she must follow in the path of many of their rockstar idols thus dying at 27. So they
