The Cold Cold Ethyls first formed in 2004 after the demise of favourite local rock band Trenchcoat. "Three men with an accoustic mission" wanting to play some laid back music for a while. With a local following, they played numerous bars and clubs along the North-West Coast for the better part of two years, until their `rock` roots lured them to Jarrod`s home studio to record their own sound. However big their musical influences - Beatles to Bowie, Alice In Chains to Tool - they always strive for a sound that is infinitely their own.
