CONSTANT is the electronic project of Sydney-based singer turned bedroom producer Stephen Charles. Inspired by the likes of James Blake, Tourist and Hayden James, the project was born in the height of the pandemic as an escape from lockdowns with the concept of making dance music for car trips instead of dance floors. CONSTANT independently released his debut single Fade Away in late 2020. Since then, the track has gone on to be added to multiple European house playlists and has now been played in over 50 countries on Spotify. The second single from this project 'Lost in Motion' is out now all platforms!

The year long project of highly awarded composer Justin Pounsett. Reasons as to why he started such a huge project still eludes him. Additionally each week a piece of artwork is created by Adelaide based animation company inspired by the track. Everything is uploaded to www.theconstant.com with a short description and synopsis on the track outlining how the process went that week (Needless to say it's not all smooth sailing). Both the music and the artworks have created an amazing and unique result that as already wow'd many. Justin recently combined one of The Constant pieces of music -- Week 28 - Anticipation -- with his entry into 'Tropscore' at the start of this year. He was surprised and humbled that his entry that he wrote in a few hours was short listed in the top 20 out of 900 entries. The Constant won't stop after 52 weeks.
