The Creeks
Bio history
The Boree Creeks were formed in Bathurst, NSW, in 1998. Their unspectacular career saw them finish last in the CSU Battle of the Bands final in that year, however this was a most productive time in the studio with the band penning the hits 'Meals on Wheels', 'David Hasselhoff (Cut Your Hair Off) and the raucous 'Seven Sleepy Sailors'. Following the release of their debut album '6 hours from Sydney, 2 hours from Wagga', the Boree Creeks relocated to Sydney's inner west where the critically acclaimed songs 'Suburban Shack' and 'Vomit In The Cake' were written and recorded. Recently the Creeks have been working on a host of new material, including 'All I Wanted Was Some Sleep' and 'Give James His $20 Back' - a song about people who turn up at group dinners and don't cough up their full share of the bill.
