Currently recording and playing in Montreal, QC, The Crown Vandals is Tim Keen (from Melbourne, Australia) and Tim Beeler (from New Hampshire, USA). They're coming home to Melbourne soon. They play folk-rock with heavily effected violins and and all sorts of tricks, reminiscent of Neutral Milk Hotel or Dirty Three, but really sounding like neither.
