G'day! ,I love playing music especially my trusty 12 string AKA "Cameron" I cant really describe how I feel when I play.... The name "The Cutaway Kid" comes from a little place I used to go when I was younger,It was not far from my house I grew up in. I lived on the the Murray river and the "Cutaway" was a section where the river crossed through the bush to meet up with the part of the river on the other side, Essentially creating a short cut instead of following around the bend.. After time the force of the river created a beautiful oasis lined with Amazing Red gum trees and little islands which flowed constantly It was where we would meet to fish,camp and just be kids... "The Cutaway kid" was born..
