Wil and Toppa first started playing music together almost a decade ago, playing covers of songs they loved by bands like nofx and blink and the likes. The band died a quiet death sometime in 2003, and is remembered with an awkward grin. Last year they started a new 3 piece punk band, but found that rehearsing the songs on acoustic guitars sounded better. “Dude, we don’t have to book a room this way!”…a band is formed. The band is essentially still in its gestational stages, with a slowly expanding catalogue of songs the Debt Collectors plan to start gigging soon, but failing that, there at least will be scratchy recordings coaxed out of twangy guitars.
