The Department of Fiction is a Melbourne electronic outfit directed by producer Dan Ryan. The DOF's music utilises artifacts from various recording projects undertaken by Dan in the last few years including samples from Emily Trembath, Tapegun, Harmaline Studio, Nhyne and Miriam Ryan. The songs are short, sweet and a little left of centre but tasty and good for the soul.
