The Derrys, a rag tag, fun times three-piece from Naarm (Melbourne), have a unique ability to create garage rock/punk music that will make you want to listen and at times laugh as they confront current issues. Broody and emotive, their mature lyrical content is centred around emotions that everyone can relate to and real-life issues people need to be aware of and take a stand for. Band members Peter Younger - guitar and vocals, Dave Weir - bass, and Floyd Bassett -drums are three Horticulturist mates who decided to start a band for fun and as a bit of a social experiment. All three band members are passionate about music wanted to test how far passion and determination could take them. Here they are, six years later, releasing their second EP.
