Edit history

The Desert Suns are an original five-piece rock band fronted by a distinctive female vocalist, supported by four middle-aged dreamers with harmonies, guitars & other goodies. Our inspiration comes from the love of music, enjoyment of playing and the creative gratification of writing our own tunes. Our influences are many and varied and include classic rock, folk, blues, soul, funk and contemporary singer-songwriters. Each band member has performed live throughout the years and a three-piece acoustic adaptation of “The Desert Suns” has been spruiking the Sydney scene recently, whilst the full band polishes a completely original set and sound. A full band debut gig is on the cards in the very near future.
