Hailing from Canberra Australia, The Dirty Sunflowers have been exploding out of your speakers and on-stage with punchy drums, tasty riffs and commanding vocals since 2018. The 4-piece outfit – featuring front-woman Jess Docherty, guitarists Nick Whatman and Rach White, and drummer Adam McMaster – have established themselves as unique and exciting in the Aussie punk-rock scene with their guitar driven sound and insanely catchy vocal hooks. Known for their tight live sets, they have shared the stage with the likes of FANGZ, Downgirl, Box Dye, and many other local and touring acts. In 2020 the band released their debut EP ‘Make A Racket‘, with the crowd favourite ‘Party Jesus’ as the lead track. The EP was later followed by dreamy slow jam ‘Clouded‘, and in 2021 the 10/10 Tarantino inspired ‘Reel Love‘. After a brief hiatus, the band has been in the studio with new music coming in 2024 that captures both their original style, and an evolving new sound.
