The day 4 high school friends from Norway decided to embark on an adventure to Australia to study their masters in Philosophy was the day The Dowse was born. The friends sat on the plane on the way over, writing lyrics and coming up with the crazy idea of an live electronic foursome, converging their influences of space disco from their home town with an ambition to be original and create their own style known to them as only "The Dowse." Now living in Australia The Dowse after 6 years of creating music is finally ready to let other people hear their work - something they thought they would never do - their first track to see the light of day is "Time Is Running Out" a track about the disintegration of hopes and dreams.
