Playing their original harmony-filled songs and fiddle tunes, these girls are an exciting up-and-coming band on the Australian folk scene. In just over a year together, The Drowsy Maggies have played at festivals including Port Fairy Folk Festival, twice at The National Celtic festival in Portarlington and at the 2016 National Folk Festival, where they were awarded the Gill Rees Memorial Award for young musicians. The girls have spent the past 4 months at various studios and lounge rooms throughout Victoria recording their debut album with Luke Plumb, and has just been released in Dec 2016.
