The Duke of Randwick sails through the Atlantic somewhere between Oasis and Nirvana before making it’s way back to Sydney, Australia. Carrying with them the likes of The Stone Roses, The Jesus and Mary Chain, New Order, Joy Division, Deftones, amongst countless others, they’ve found a sound of their own. Soothing and loud, sensitive and aggressive, outspokenly personal, simple and deep, mirroring life’s extremes as a wayward dream. After meeting at Randwick Boys High School, Jack (guitar/lead vocals) and Daniel (bass/back up vocals) picked up their instruments for the first time. A rotating roster of colourful characters have come and gone over the years as they’ve mastered their craft and honed their sound.
