The Echo Chamber is more than a band. It is a collective of soul siblings on a life-long journey to write and create a vast and eclectic collection of music, crossing genres, decades and centuries and – as the name suggests – echoing their observations of the world as it spins past them. Starting as a post grunge 4 piece, The Echo Chamber has evolved to 6 pieces, and added jazz, groove funk and disco elements among many other styles and sounds, while maintaining an edgy indy vibe. The band has gone through a few changes, with their original bass player, Rohan, moving interstate to be replaced by yet another Rohan, while remaining an integral part of the group, writing and recording remotely and reuniting for key gigs. They’ve also experienced their front man transition to their front woman, introducing rock chick Stevie to their line-up. Like many artists, the last 3 years have been challenging, but in 2022 they have managed to release a new EP, Meat and Potatoes. Enjoy!
